I started my journey to clear skin by going an entire year without wearing makeup. I was convinced that my oily skin was behind my breakouts and that makeup was making it worse. I had lived 20+ years with the mentality that wearing makeup was costing me a clear complexion.
When I began trying green beauty products, I quickly learned I was totally wrong! The harmful ingredients in high-end makeup I had been using were the reason for my irritated skin. It had caused me to break out for years, sometimes even causing pigmentation all over my face.
